At Shambesai we have shallow high-grade oxide portion of the Mineral Resource which occurs from surface which totals approximately 300,000 ounces with an average grade of 3.6 g/t gold from a total resource of 460,000 ounces of gold at 2.2 g/t gold. This near-surface oxide resource is the focus of a feasibility study for Stage 1 of the Shambesai Project which will be completed in the December 2011 Quarter. We also have an ongoing exploration program throughout the entire project area with more than 50 prospects being outlined for exploration. Eight prospects are considered high priority and are ready for drilling.
We own 100 per cent of all our projects on the South Kyrgyz Gold Project, and we have a joint venture on the high-grade Savoyardy project with ASX-listed Kentor Gold Limited.
We have more than 30 technical staff operating in the Kyrgyz Republic.
